Reasoned Administration: The European Union, the United States, and the Project of Democratic Governance, 76 George Washington Law Review 99 (2007)

Abstract

There are broad similarities between conceptions of “good administration” in the United States and in the European Union (“E.U.”). These similarities are combined with considerable variations, both in the understanding of the scope of these “rights” or “expectations” and the institutional context within which they are articulated and enforced.
