The Good Faith Purchase Idea and the Uniform Commercial Code: Confessions of a Repentant Draftsman, 15 GA. L. REV. 605 (1981)

Abstract

At the end of World War II, I gratefully accepted an invitation
to join the faculty of the Yale Law School. When I reported for
duty in New Haven, Dean Wesley Sturges said to me: "You will
teach Sales." I said: "Yes, sir." That is how I became a commercial
lawyer. I do not know how such matters are handled today.
