An urgent problem of our time is the harmonization of man's mastery over nature with freedom and human dignity. The quest for omnipotence poses the question of the peril in which traditional respect for privacy stands in the modem world. Should privacy be abandoned altogether or should we attempt to salvage as much as possible from what is perhaps a sinking ship?
