Abstract
There can be plenty of room for disagreement on the purposes of the comparative study of criminal law, and the problems are increased, whatever purpose one assigns to the discipline, when one faces the task of examining the criminal law of two markedly different legal systems. These difficulties and differences in approach are reflected in the preparation of materials for the study of foreign criminal law.
